The church of the Holy Trinity

The history of the church

The old church was built after the Word War II., and it was demolished in 1979, when the new council estate was built. The new church was designed by Dénes Perczel, and was consecrated by László Lékai cardinal in 1984, on Trinity Sunday. The side-altar was the old church's main-altar, originally had been made as a field-altar by Gyula Tóth indulstrial designer. Now the old Holy Trinity symbol is seen on the side of the belfry. The old church's side-altar was placed in the garden of the church.

How to get to the church:
By BKV bus Nr. 137, Nr. 218, Nr. 237 or BKV tram Nr. 1 or Nr. 1a as far as Óbudai rendelöintézet stop.

The box is hidden at a very busy spot – please be careful!
The cache contains only log book, so you have to bring your own pen.

Szentháromság templom

A templom története

A háború után épült templomot 1979-tol, az új lakótelep építésekor lebontják. Az új templomot Perczel Dénes tervezte, majd 1984-ben Szentháromság vasárnapján Lékai László bíboros szentelte fel. A mellékoltár a régi templom fooltára volt, eredetileg hordozható tábori oltárként készítette Tóth Gyula iparmuvész. A régi Szentháromság embléma ma a torony külso falán látható. A régi templom mellékoltárát a templomudvarban helyezték el.

Hogy jutsz el a templomhoz:
A 137-es, a 218-as, a 237-es busszal, az 1-es vagy az 1a villamossal az Óbudai rendelöintézet megállóig.

A láda nagyon forgalmas helyen van elrejtve – kérlek légy óvatos!
A dobozban csak a logbook van, vigyél magaddal tollat!
