This cache is located on the STAFFORD TURNPIKE LOOP located on Heins Farm. Please follow trail markers around the field edge as the neighboring farm hays the fields.
The trail begins across Leadmine Road from the parking lot, and turns slightly southwest crossing over the ridge, then turning northwest. Follow the trail down across the valley floor, cross the bridge, and up onto the next ridge, and turn left. Stafford Turnpike Loop offers extensive views of the farm fields and from the high point on the old Stafford Turnpike you can see an expansive view of the town of Sturbridge.
This cache is kid friendly...just like running to Grandpie when he comes to visit and he scoops you up to see what kind of goodies are in his shirt pocket.
