“And above Earl” is a cache right
above the Earl Reservoir in Highland Mills, NY.
The route I enjoyed was parking at N 41 22.870 W 074 08.769 above
the Mountain Lodge Community. At the end of the road, back into the space
provided and make sure not to block the road. Parking there, you will see an
old, old sign that says ‘no trespassing’. It’s not clear to me why it’s there
unless it’s to scare away the non locals. The path leads right to the top of
the Schunemunks, the radio towers, and the Jessup Trail. At the top head SW and
enjoy the views.

I made (silver rings), a Home Depot HONDA pin, a “Miss Evans Boys” video tape,
A Wonder Woman post card trying to get to New Mexico, and a Hitchhiker in the
form of a seal stamp. I carved this seal and you’re free to use it from cache
to cache to sign the logs.
Dont forget to take your compass and binoculars to hone your orienteering skils and to enjoy the view from on top of the ridge.
