A park near the Charles River
A lovely spot on the Charles River. I saw this park on the map and wondered what it was like. When I got there I was delighted by the smooth paths and tranquil lagoons offering up much for the lives of the local water fowl. I ventured out to the tip of the peninsula and one of them took offense and took off. I checked around for nests but saw none, so I think she was upset because I told her I had no food.
The spot would most likely become an island if the Charles was anywhere near flood stage, so consider that before heading out.
