Geocache Description:

The cache is a 35 mm film canister. It is placed near the tower. There are a lot of moggels round this place so be careful and hide the cache perfectly after logging. Bring your own pencil!

The "Torro dei Saraceni" has an historical background. In the 14th and 16th senctury the Saracens plunderd and distroid the villages on the costs of Sardegna. The watch towers were build with intervisibility. Cannon shots or fire signals were used to communicate and to warn the people.
