Geocache Description:

The cache was placed with permission of the Scioto Audubon Metro parks, permit 177-001-10. Please no bushwhacking, the cache is reachable from with 3ft of the designated trail or grassy areas.

This is a regular sized cache with room for trade items. The original contents include a FTF prize, Slinky and several TB's ready to move.

Hidden within this newly created Metro Park, the cache lies in wait between old Maier St. and Whitier St. Though the streets are no longer in existence, the street signs give testament to their former location. Whittier St. has been a historic part of Columbus that once was home to street cars riding their rails. Now this will become a lush park full of trees and exciting activities for people of all ages. Below is a picture of a streetcar from 1947.
