How Geocaching Works
This the cache is at the north top edge of the eastern part of Mt. Mc Rae. Hiking time is 3 hours round trip that could easily go to 5 hours with some route finding and rests. Wear waterproof running shoes or hiking boots as there are significant wet sections. The last part of the trail will require patience and route finding.
Park at the end of Coppin Road and follow the trail going east. You can stop by "Coppin Road Geocache" on the way to this cache. The trail is mostly up hill on the way in. Make sure you have loaded or printed out the intermediate waypoints as there are many trails back there. Cell phones will work in some but not all areas. There is a great lookout 20 - 30 metres from the cache. The last km of trail is a bit difficult to follow so be attentive and patient. Bring a camera. This cache isn't for for everyone.
