DIE HOHE BRÜCKE

An der oben genannten Startkoordinate befindet Ihr Euch im Schlosspark des Schloss
Charlottenburg, genauer gesagt an einer Stelle, an der sehr häufig Eichhörnchen zu
treffen sind. Da diese possierlichen Wesen hier an fütternde Menschen gewöhnt sind,
schafft man es manchmal, dass sie einem eine Nuss aus der Hand nehmen. Wenn ihr
hier kein Eichhörnchen seht, so findet Ihr zumindest eine Dose, die weitere Informationen
enthält.

Weiter gehts dann zur Hohen Brücke, einer Fußgängerbrücke über den nördlichen Abfluss
des sogenannten Karpfenteiches. Sie ist die zweitälteste erhaltene Stahlbrücke in Berlin
(erbaut 1802), gegossen in der Königlichen Eisengießerei Malapane. Die Hohe Brücke ist
ein einmaliges Zeugnis aus den Anfängen des Eisenbrückenbaus in Deutschland.
Heute fotografieren sich Touristen aus aller Welt gerne auf dieser Brücke, im Hintergrund
das Schloss Charlottenburg.

Dieser Cache war ursprünglich ein Tradi mit Logbedingung, was es ja so nicht mehr gibt.
Da wir Euch aber in jedem Fall zur Hohen Brücke führen wollten, ist es nun ein Multi
geworden, den auch die Finder des urprünglichen Tradis noch einmal loggen dürfen.

Der Schlosspark ist im Winter von ca. 8 - 16 Uhr und im Sommer von
ca. 8 - 20 Uhr für jeden geöffnet.

In the above mentioned start-co-ordinate you are in the castle park of the castle Charlottenburg,
exactly at a place, where you can often find some squirrels. As this nice animals are here accustomed
to human beings, it is sometimes possible to give them a nut, which take a sqirrel from your hand. If you
can see no squirrel, you can find however the some further information, you need for this short multi. If you
have the necessary information, you have to walk to the high bridge in the castle park of the castle
Charlottenburg. This footbridge leads about the northern drain of the carp pond and is the second-oldest
preserved steel bridge in Berlin (built in 1802). It was poured in the royal iron foundry Malapane and is a
unique report from the beginnings of the iron bridge building in Germany.
Today tourists from all over the world take with pleasure a photo of themselves on this bridge, in the
background the castle Charlottenburg.
This cache was in former times a traditional cache with a log-condition. As this is no longer allowed,
we changed it into a multi-cache. All cacher, which loged the tradi are allowed to log this multi again.

Opening of the park of the castle Charlotttenburg: In winter approx. 8 am to 4 pm, in summer
approx. 8 am to 8 pm.
