Being a Jasper Joe Tribute, there had to be at least 1 Puzzle to
Solve. The difficulty rating is for the puzzle. The hike to the
cache is a nice level walk, 1.5, except the last 15 feet, then it
is an annoying bushwhack. No caching from 10pm to 6am as the
Greenway is "closed" during those hours.
A Jasper Joe Mini Series #3: Here's a Good Spot
This Micro is the third and final in a small 3 part series, dedicated to a cacher who many of the locals have truly grown to appreciate. This series is about 6 months in the making, but I wanted to keep them simple for all to enjoy.
Well, flash ahead one more day, check your e-mail and
TADA, another new listing in what is now a very familiar location. However, this very rarely happened by Jasper Joe, but this is my bonus cache dedicated to him. Also, I figured it would be a good way for us to maybe be fortunate enough that Joe might place another cache a hop, skip and a jump away. I guess we will have to wait and see.
I can definitely say, anytime you saw a new Mystery/Puzzle cache pop into your inbox, you could pretty much figure it was a Jasper Joe cache. Let me tell you this, he spared no sympathy for the difficulty of many of his puzzles either, making them as vague and random as he possibly could at times. Well, that is, until you figured them out and then got the old "DUH" feeling....or if you were lucky enough to have a good caching friend who was gracious enough to help you out. We definitely cannot take away the intellectual quality of Joe, especially when it comes to his caching personality. So, I figured, even though I had originally meant for these to all be simple, I might just throw a Puzzle/Mystery cache out there and see how the Puzzle Master does at his own game.
Another aspect of a Jasper Joe cache, at least as
far as I know, is there was rarely ever a bushwhack to get to the cache, of course, now stating that, we are probably all in trouble, but being cachers, we' ready, so bring it Joe! For this cache, you may have to duck your head, turn side ways and shuffle your feet, and maybe grab or pull a pricker or branch out of your way to get to it, but in the end, it is an easy cache to find, and yet another smiley to add to your list, all with a thank you to our good
friend, Jasper Joe.
To all who search for this cache, please be gentle with the container, which is another camouflage matchstick container. The top is fixed to it's location, please hold the top with one hand and unscrew the bottom with the other, I will truly appreciate it. I hope Jasper Joe and all the other cachers who will try this series, will have as much fun, if not more, than I did
putting them together. One thing is for sure, after all the work Joe has done, and I'm sure is currently doing, he definitely deserves a little appreciation. Afterall, before his cemetery caches disappeared, there was a good shot at 200 caches out there, 100 from Joe, and 100 from other great cachers. Thanks JJ.
The puzzle to solve the coords to the cache are as follows:

There you have it, each "block" of 3 letters represents 1 digit, you know the format for coords.
Seems this puzzle is easier than I thought to solve, and cachers are finding it without a coords checker and/or calling to verify coords. However, if you are traveling from afar, please e-mail me a day or two in advance and I will make sure you don't waste your trip.
