This is the first cache we've hidden - should be an easy find. It is very near our house so it should also be easy to maintain. The cache's name will make sense when you see what company is next door.
***Congrats to thazygoat for FTF and getting the FTF coin***
DO NOT PARK AT COLLEGE STATION UTILITIES
Doing so will unnecessiarly put a creek between you and the cache. The field you'll see adjacent to the trails where the cache is located is often used to hit golf balls, fly model airplanes and throw balls and Frisbees for dogs. The path near the cache is little known and can't really be seen from the street in front of the area, but it is a neat little walk! Park at the field just off the pavement on the side road (Birmingham) to the east of cache.
7-25-10 - We had to replace the container because the cache went missing. The container is now a small ammo can located about 30-40ft off a prominent path. No real bushwhacking involved because the brush is very light and sparse in that area!
Please sign the log (don't take the pen!), make sure the ammo can is closed tightly and correctly to keep water out, and replace the cache exactly where you found it!
The original items in the new cache are:
- 7.5M Tape Measure
- Key-chain Light
- Pocket Knife
- Tire Gauge
- Car Key-chain
- Green Carabiner
- Black Carabiner
