Geocache Description:

Not for the weak of heart or legs :-), this one is a nice mountain bike challenge or a long hike on a high trail. Start at the entrance to the Avalon Area of the Patapsco State Park (39° 13.182 N 76° 42.300 W) and dont cross the Patapsco River. There are several routes to the cache; we took the somewhat rough one, along one of the bike trails. There is an easier way, but that wouldn't be as much fun. You'll be travelling about a mile and a half from the parking lot and will end up at an altitude of about 303 feet.

The clear rubbermaid container contains:

noisemaker; whistle; blue glitter eyeliner; a Grandson's CD; kids camo cap; sardines in mustard; an Evolve bumper sticker; handwarmers; sidewalk chalk; glass jar with colored glass beads; Magic Fortunetelling orb; smiley pencil
disposable camera (take a picture of yourself and leave it there)

Hope you have as much fun finding it as we did leaving it. This park is a beautiful place for fun and adventure.
