A small camo'ed Lock & Lock.
It's funny how the memory works and the little insignificant things that trigger the memories. Walking down the Ashuwillticook Trail recently we decided to check on Junk Goat, just for the fun of it. It was missing! Who would have taken it? Why would anyone take it? E-mailed RTG, who checked on it then decided to archive it.
Now the grieving process kicks in! I miss "Junk Goat!" Walking the trail again the memories came flooding back! The many times we searched for it and DNF'd! The number of times we had to pretend to need to rest as muggles walked by giving us dirty looks! The night searches because we heard it was easier to find in the night! Talking to the police officer who just chuckled at us! The near nervous break down because this one was eluding us! The excitement we felt when Gary said "wait, I think I've got something here!" as he laid down in the path to reach it! Oh such joy and now it's gone!
As with all good things that go, we decided to memorialize this one. Not as clever, but it's the thought that counts!
