The cache is located to the east of the mountain village of Sella.
You can drive to Alcantara picnic area but it's much nicer to follow the local path, 'Ruta del Agua', which starts in the Plaza Mayor (see below).
The cache is a small plastic container with a bright green lid.
Drive from Villajoyosa, through Orcheta, to the village of Sella (stunning mountain scenery). Go over the bridge below the village and when you reach a left hairpin bend just before entering Sella (profusion of signs) turn right. Park in car park on the right.
At the top of the road turn right (just after the car park) and follow the tarmac for just over 1km until another narrower tarmac road turns down to the right before a house. Continue along the one track road to a junction and drive across the river to the right. Continue uphill (passing a track on your left) to the picnic spot at Font Alcantara.
The Ruta del Agua also brings you to this spot from the village if you prefer to walk there: from the car park (see above) walk up the road and turn left along the one-way street. Turn second right into the square. At the far end on the left you will see an information board for the Ruta del Agua. Follow the green and white signs down the steps through the village, down over the bridge and past the mill to eventually arrive at Font Alcantara.
The cache can be found from directly behind the picnic spot (scramble up slippery, steep slope covered in pine needles). However it's easier to go up the track before the picnic site, take the narrow path turning off right on the left hairpin bend and find your way from there.
