Geocache Description:

The posted coordinates will put you in the middle of a nearby lake.

DO NOT GO THERE. THE CACHE IS NOT OUT THERE.

For this puzzle use the following letters in place of numbers. N 42 AB.CDE W 083 FG.HIJ. Some or all of the values for the letters will change in some steps. Use the posted coordinates as the starting values. Use the following 12 steps to determine where the cache is located. Step One-Read all steps completly before you start. Step Two-Change the value of the letters in reverse order (A with J, B with I, C with H, D with G and E with F). Step Three-Using the new values of the letters...If A is smaller than D subtract three from each number...But if A is larger than D add two to each number. Step Four-Using the new values of the letters...If the sum of the values of the vowels is greater than the sum of the values of the consonants subtract the difference from the north coordinates...If the sum of the values of the vowels is less than the sum of the values of the consonants add the difference to the west coordinates. Step Five-Using the new values of the letters...If the value of E and J are both even add them together and subtract the sum from the north coordinates....If both are odd add the sum to the west coordinates...If one is odd and the other is even don't do anything. Step Six-Using the new values of the letters...Switch the values from top to bottom..(A with F, B with G, C with H, D with I and E with J). Step Seven-Using the new values of the letters...Add the value of C to the value of all the letters...unless the result would be a two digit number, in that case subtract the value of C from the value of that letter. Step Eight-Using the new values of the letters...If more letters have the value of an odd number subtact one from the value of each letter...If more letters have the value of an even number add one to the value of each letter. Step Nine-Using the new values of the letters...Subtract the sum of A and H from the value of G...Unless that would result in a negative number, in that case add the sum to G. Step Seven-Using the new values of the letters...Now reverse the order of the letters again (A with J, B with I, C with H, D with G and E with F). Step Eleven-Ignore steps two through ten because the cache is located at north fortytwo, fiftyfive point two hundred fiftynine, west eightythree, thirty point one hundred and one. Step Twelve-Drive, ride, walk or choose another mode of transportation and get to ground zero and make the find!
