How Geocaching Works
This geocache is adjacent to a hiking trail in John Latsch State Park, a beautiful gem within the Minnesota State Park system. A Minnesota State Parks vehicle sticker is required to enter this state park in your vehicle.
Not a park and grab. Plan on about 1 hour to grab this cache and take in the awesome views. Start at the small parking lot just off US 61.
This is an easy find while on the park's bluff-top trail. Of course getting up the bluff is a different matter! Once you've made it to the top, you'll not only be rewarded with a heart-pumping cardio workout, but with magnificent views of bluff-top forests, the Mississippi River valley, and the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge. From the rock outcrop overlooks, eagles will be soaring at eye level. And yes, you can see all the way to Wisconsin from here!
