Leppoisaa puuhastelua koko perheelle melkoisen mukavalla paikalla
Nice and easy family task and great place
Kaerlan kylän muodostivat jo 1500-luvulla tunnetut 7 taloa: Möörö, Pumpo (nyk. Puolikko), Taskula, Markula, Leipähousu (nyk. Leipälä), Luukirves (nyk. Kirves) ja Mulli (ptk 2/7.3.1973 § 9). Kirveenpuiston kallio lienee ollut jo tuolloin kyläläisten yhteinen ”olohuone”. Sellainen se on ainakin nykyään. Asaama-lapset lennättävät kalliolla leijaa.
Ulkopaikkakuntalaiselle ja/tai Turkua tuntemattomalle kätkön difficulty-luokitus on korkeampi. Voit itse määrittää tähtesi luettuasi tehtävän. Toki voit tutustua kohteisiin ja niiden sijainteihin ennenkuin kiipeät mäelle.
Kolme vaihtoehtoista lähestymissuuntaa:
1. Aukea lähellä Taskulantien ja Mullintien risteystä
2. Tyhjä tontti Leipäläntiellä
3. Leikkipuisto Kastuntien ja Mullintien risteyksen lähellä.
Aloituskoordinaatit johtavat mäen huipulle, josta aukeaa aika kivat näkymät. Maisemia katsellen selviää kätkörasian sijainti. Pimeässä, sumuisella tai sateisella säällä joudut ehkä vähän arvailemaan. Kätkön koordinaatit N60°28.ABC E022°16.DEF saat selvittämällä, näkyykö kalliolta seuraavat kohteet:
A Tuomiokirkko: Joo= 2 Ei= 3
B Aurajoki: Joo= 5 Ei= 1
C Meri: Joo= 6 Ei= 9
D Vartiovuoren tähtitorni: Joo= 6 Ei= 5
E Pernon telakan nosturi: Joo= 3 Ei= 9
F TYKS: Joo= 0 Ei= 7

During I500s this place was called Kaerla village. There was 7 wellknown houses: Möörö. Pumpo (Puolikko), Taskula, Markula, Leipähousu (Leipälä), Luukirves (Kirves) and Mulli. I guess that already back then people have spent their freetime relaxing and playing on this rock. Atleast nowadays we do. Asaama-kids fly their kite here.
For people who don't live in Turku or don't know the city cache difficulty-rating is higher. You can define your level after reading the questions. But of course you can find out how the objects look like and what is their location before climbing to the hill.
There are three places to start your hiking:
1. Next to the cross of Taskulantie and Mullintie
2. Empty ground in Leipäläntie
3. Playground near to the cross of Kastuntie and Mullintie.
Starting coordinates take you on the hill. You'll get the cache location by watching very nice view. During dark, smoky or rainy weather you might have to guess some answers. You’ll get the final coordinates N60°28.ABC E022°16.DEF by finding out, what you can see from the hill. Can you see:
A Turku Cathedral: Yes= 2 No= 3
B Aura River: Yes= 5 No= 1
C The sea: Yes= 6 No= 9
D Vartiovuori observatory: Yes= 6 No= 5
C The big crane of Perno shipyard: Yes= 3 No= 9
E Turku university central hospital TYKS: Yes= 0 No= 7
