I’m introducing this series of caches, called Minong: Pleasant Valley, to introduce everyone to the wonderful Minong area of northern Wisconsin. Find the clues in the first six caches to solve for the coordinates of the final cache for Josiah Bond Park.
This small park provides a picnic shelter, basketball court, volleyball court, playground equipment, softball field and horseshoe court for Minong residents and visitors. This park, along with the larger softball park to the east become the fairgrounds for Minong’s Summer Days festival, held every August. Summer Days provides one last hoorah and salute to summer for residents, cabin people and visitors alike and includes softball and volleyball tournaments, live music, a parade and other family friendly events.
