Geocache Description:

Hanmer Springs North Canterbury New Zealand
Terrain- Open grassland scattered scrub and rocks.
Altitude 758m

Cache- A one litre camo painted container. Containing-Varios items put in by Big Nick on 1/3/03 thanks very much for your efforts.
    Drive to Hanmer Springs 11/2 hours drive from Christchurch.
    Take the Clarence valley road(gravel) but o.k. for cars.Drive over Jacks pass or by 4wd only over Jollies Pass. Acheron accomodation house is your destination. Restored by the historic places trust. It is unlocked and you are welcome to look through.

    This is N.Z Govt land. Molesworth Station is the largest farm in N.Z. But public are allowed access to the accomodation house and surrounding area.

    You are now only 200m approx from the cache. So follow your G.P.S and goodluck...
