A short walk from the spillway over to a heron rookery. The cache
is a modified micro.
A nice walk from the spillway over a narrow, shakey bridge, which
Mrs. B. isn't too fond of, brings you to a heron rookery. Today we
could see and hear the herons in their nests, but we were far
enough away that we didn't disturb them. After placing the cache we
returned to the bridge because we are not sure if the trail
connected back to the original trail system again. We noticed many
new trails that were not on the map. The cache is a modified bison
tube, located about thirty feet off trail.
