I am placing this series to help you identify the different tree varieties. The cache is hidden at the base of the tree being identified.
Northern red oak, Quercus rubra, is widespread in the East and grows on a variety of soils and topography, often forming pure stands. Moderate to fast growing, this tree is one of the more important lumber species of red oak and is an easily transplanted, popular shade tree with good form and dense foliage
The cache is loacated on the trails at Blue Job. Parking is available at N 43 19.678 W 071 07.333
You may want to bring a picnic lunch and make sure you bring plenty of water if you plan on spending the day.
The cache is a medium lock-n-lock container with the usual trade items. There is a new deck of playing cards for the first to find. Be sure to close the lid tightly to keep moisture out.
Congrats to Moranger & Modeenie for Co-FTF
