Like anyone who writes puzzles, I try to come up with original
ideas. It can be frustrating to work hard on an encoding method and
then hear one of the greats say, "Oh yeah, I saw that used by the
Mossad in Beirut." Damn, if only I'd been in Beirut!
So, without making any promises as to originality, what I can
say is: When this puzzle came to mind, I thought it was a pretty
neat idea. Hope you agree (or at least enjoy trying your hand at
