The Art of Faux Finish and Trompe l’Oeil II
This is a small (non) traditional cache. There is room for a pencil
and log along with a few small beads and charms.
There is a special charm for a key ring, cell phone, zipper, or
whatever you want for the FTF. Not much will fit in this container,
so if you bring something to trade, make sure it is the size of a
bead, button, or charm. Be careful to take it out carefully, so as
not to spill the contents on the ground. The beads and charms are
on the bottom under the pencil and log. Also, try to carefully put
it back the way you found it. The pencil and log make it a tight
fit. This title was originally for a cache I wanted to place by the
Proctor Art Gallery, but it was too close to Proctor on Display, so
I couldn’t list it there with Geocaching.com. The title
contains French art terms which have to do with the cache. It is
well camouflaged and unusual. I had to redesign it to fit a new
home and hiding place.
In wandering about the north end looking for places without caches,
I came upon this wonderful strip of greenery and trees…no
caches there! Yeah…I found the cache a home. As you search
you may encounter walkers along a path winding through this green
belt area in the middle of the quiet street.
Being new to this, I took PicTom’s advice in figuring the
coordinates by staying in the area for a length of time and taking
several readings. I hope they are okay. Enjoy the challenge!
Felicitations a BadCop le premier a trouver. Tres Bien!
