The Oaks Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Krypton: As there's been no response to my previous note, I assume that the cache is not going to be repaired or replaced, so I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it

Thanks for your cooperation!

Geocache Description:

Update: Due to numerous responses, I've relocated the cach to a quieter area, and without poison oak! :)"The Oaks": A hidden cache in Rancho San Antonio Park. It's a strenuous hike in rolling hills with some great views! Altitude gain: 850ft. Difficulty: Moderate hiking; bring plenty of water in warm weather. Good Luck!

Take a hike among the oaks and meadows and find the hidden treasure!. Contents of the cache include:
  • 4 AA batteries (for your GPS)
  • Tonka Mini-SUV
  • Audubon Bird Call
  • A coin collection from the South Pacific
  • Gold-plated kiwi bird (maybe this can do some traveling?)
  • Mini-Stapler from cache "Midnight Memorial"
  • Fuji Camera (take a shot, leave it behind, email me when it's full)
  • 2 Fuji blank Casette tapes
  • A funny shark mask
  • Log book and pen (an xtra pen is appreciated)
