This is our first cache in Guatemala. Visiting the beautiful city of Flores is a dream. You will probably make a trip to the "ruins" one of your days here? Bring your GPS then and take the canopy tour on your own :)
For nice lodging in Flores, try the upper new rooms at the Villa De Lago, a bargain for 150 Q with TV, air-con and nice view of the lake (2001). We had too little time to spend here, sad to say, we “must” move on to Belize tomorrow and then in a couple of weeks go back to Sweden, Europe.
We can also recommend the Canopy Tour. Going on wires across the jungle is really worth the $25 (2001).
The cache is (from 2008) a small tupperware containing a logbook pen and some other items

News 2011 - Last cacher DNF, the ones before this didn't have time looking. Maybe it is there!
Please help me RESTORE this very old cache, the only physical in Guatemala. IF you have the chance of helping me out with a new box in the area you will become my new HERO!!!
NEWS 2012: GPSMartyx helped me to restore this one. Now its a container again. The original hiding place was a large tree. But now it's over TEN years ago I was there so the tree might be fallen down... ;)
