Start your walk at the trailhead at S 35° 23.750 E 149° 00.730! A short invigorating stroll along a good path will get you onto the top of the rocky outcrop at the posted co-ordinates, where you can enjoy this excellent vantage point with its commanding view downstream along the Murrumbidgee River. Don't be distracted by the view far below.
The ammo box cache is just a metre or two below you and should be an easy find - just remember though to replace the rock flakes and leave it out of sight from the top because bushwalkers also hop up here for a lookout spot.
