Many thanks to El Aguila and SideIron for this cache, in such a wonderful place.
The cache is set in a lovely parade of shops which, sadly, are all empty due to the recession, but you could imagine craft or artisan shops in this place.I have often passed this place but never stopped - today I came to visit, as my geohound, Sally, was having a spa bath at the nearby vets - one of the best in the area with brilliant staff and so friendly - pay them a visit if you have an animal that needs the very best attention?.
The entrance to the parade..
An attractive setting to live?.
Horse statue under an arch
Once a common sight in Spain - you may still find the odd one working?
Bridge and small water garden.
One of these would look good watering your garden, or next to the swimming pool?
Benijofar is my favourite village/small town and has several restaurants/bars, shops and services such as insurance, mailpoint etc. There is even a firework shop further up the street. There is also a nice ice-cream and pizza place next to the cache. The plaza looks especially attractive with its fountain when lit up at night. It is also one of the few places that has a cobbled street such as you would find in villages and towns in the UK.
Just up the road is Ciudad Quesada with some nice shops and the best Fish & Chip restaurant for miles around!
Stop a while to enjoy the place and visit one of the cafes for a meal or drink.
Remember - Leave nothing but footprints - Take nothing but photo's and memories.
