Geocache Description:

For Olivia Noelle's Flash Mob Event (GC23X54) the cavecats made a special geocache just for her. This cache is near a fork in the trail. Olivia and I have taken the high route more times than the low, but it has been the start for many geocache finds on the Montara Mountain. Because we have many friends starting geocaching for the sake of hiking, especially with their children, we figured that this would be the perfect place.

As written by the cavecats:
A Little Bird Told Me So - Olivia Noelle

Although this cache is quite traditional, its particularity is that it was discovered and logged by Olivia Noelle's birthday guests.

Now that this cache is hidden and published, all the birthday guests can get an Olivia Noelle smiley on-line without having to go to the coordinates. The first birthday guest to log on-line can claim a FTF.

For everyone else this is a traditional cache so go find it.

Oh and because Olivia Noelle is a happy go lucky two year-old now, the first geocacher to actually find this cache at the posted coordinates can also claim a FTF.

The cache itself is a bird house. If you check the coordinates first, you will see a lone tree on the side of the trail. THERE IS POISON OAK IN THE AREA! However, I will let you in on a little secret so you do not get any on yourself. When you get to the tree, face it, keep your feet on the dirt trail (do not step on any plants) and look straight ahead into the tree. You should see the bird house staring back at you. It is at eye level, and you can reach out and touch it. To retrieve the cache, please do not take the bird house down off of the tree. You can push the canister out from behind and slip it back in the same way.

Congratulations to Team 5-12 for *attendee* FTF

Congratulations to HMB Lipripper for *hiking* FTF

Congratulations to jara8055 for being the first attendee AND hikee

Certain seasons leave this cache a little bit more exposed than others. And because of this, sometimes muggles have been known to take the log, but at least they leave the bird house. If you should find the bird house without the log container, go ahead and log it with a "Found It," but when logging your find, please put a note in it that the log sheet is missing.
