Geocache Description:

Welcome to one of a series of geocaches placed on Camel's Hump State Park by the land manager.

Preston Brook gets its name from a family that used to live at the base of Honey Hollow in the old farmhouse, which was built in 1820. Prior to that the Preston's had a log cabin closer to the Winooski River, built in the late 1700's. Several generations of Prestons, then the Lafrenieres, lived here. (Leo Lafreniere married Bertha Preston). A story goes that there were native american indians still living along the river when the Prestons established their farmstead. The farmers used to find arrowheads when they tilled the lower fields.

NOTE: You will not need to move anything to retreive this cache, it is a matter of perspective.
