Geocache Description:

On a rare clear day, the intersection at Cragmont and 12th Avenue, just outside Golden Gate Heights Park, provides a view of three of San Francisco's most famous landmarks: the Pacific Ocean to the west, the Golden Gate Bridge to the north, and Twin Peaks to the East.

Golden Gate Heights Park is a quiet, forested 7-acre park in western San Francisco's Golden Gate Heights neighborhood. Though probably not as well known as its neighbor slightly to the north, Grandview Park, it still sports some impressive views of the surrounding area. In addition to a new playground installed in 2021, this park has hiking trails, two tennis courts, and a few picnic tables. It is also located within walking distance of other neighborhood landmarks like the 16th Avenue Tiled Steps.

The cache is hidden near the beginning of a short trail that takes you around the park. Follow the path for a bit to reach the top of Larsen Peak, the park's highest point. From here you can get a slightly obstructed view looking west over the Sunset District.

Congrats to UnixGal for being the FTF.
