Deze cache maakt deel uit van de "100 jaar Scouting Geocache Serie".
In het begin had Scouting Nederland een bonus-cache GC22C34, maar die is inmiddels gearchiveerd.

De totale lengte van de cache is ongeveer 8 kilometer.
Deze cache is het best te doen met de fiets, omdat halverwege een paal in de weg kan staan. In een uurtje is de hele route per fiets af te leggen.
Parkeren kan bij het beginpunt.
Vanaf 12 maart 2011 moet bij tussenpunt 4 worden betaald voor het parkeren.

De blokjes linksonder waren de enige huizen en de kerk van het toenmalige Vogelenzang.
5e Wereld Jamboree, Vogelenzang 1937
De naam van deze cache is ontleend aan de eerste strofe van het Jamboreelied van toen: “In 19-3-7, dan zal je wat beleven, dan komt de Jamboree in Nederland…….”
Deze Jamboree staat te boek, naast de schoonste tot nu toe, als de laatste Jamboree waar Lord Baden-Powell (B.P.) aan deelnam voordat hij overleed in januari 1941. In aanwezigheid van ongeveer 28.700 scouts uit 54 landen – inclusief 8.000 uit de Britse Gemene Bestlanden, opende Koningin Wilhelmina deze 5e Wereld Jamboree.
Bij zijn afscheid zei B.P. op 81-jarige leeftijd: "Ik nader het eind van mijn leven, velen van jullie staan nog aan het begin. Ik wens jullie een gelukkig en succesvol leven toe. Je kunt dit bereiken door je altijd aan de Padvinderswet te houden, wat je ook bent en waar je je ook bevindt. Now Goodbye. God bless you all. God bless you."
Het was alsof hij wist dat hij niet meer in staat was om een volgende Jamboree mee te maken en gaf zijn zegen aan alle scouts over de hele wereld.
Vertrekpunt van deze cache: N 52° 19.450’ - E004° 35.270’
Station Vogelenzang was ook voor de meeste deelnemers aan deze Jamboree het beginpunt. Toentertijd werd speciaal voor de Jamboree extra spoor aangelegd als apart perron. Het station werd geopend op 2 juni 1842 en gesloten op 17 september 1944. Tijdens de Jamboree kreeg het de meeste passagiers te verwerken. Nu is het onder andere een restaurant.
Direct naast het station is een spoorwegovergang. Wat is daarvan het overwegnummer? Het nummer van de overweg = A.
Op weg naar de Jamboree
Op de vier toegangswegen naar het Jamboreeterrein waren toegangspoorten gepionierd: in scoutingtermen is dat bouwen met hout en touw, zonder spijkers. Hier is de poort aan de Bekslaan dat zich net ten westen van het station bevond.
Tussenpunt #1: N 52° 20.A+10’ - E004° 34.8A’
Op de kruising van de Vogelenzangseweg-Woestduinweg was het Noordelijke toegangspoort gemaakt. Ten Westen van deze poort waren nog twee kleine parkeerterreinen in de weilanden. Wat is het huisnummer van boerderij Eindhoeve aan de westzijde? Wat is het kilometergetal van het hectometerpaaltje. Wat is het peilbuisnummer aan de zijde van het bankje? Uit hoeveel betonnen palen bestaat voetgangers haarspeldbocht? Wat is het bovenste nummer van de lantaarnpaal op het verkeerheuveltje?
Het huisnummer van de boerderij = B;
Het kilometergetal van het hectometerpaaltje = C;
Het peilbuisnummer op dit tussenpunt = D;
Het aantal betonnen paaltjes = E;
Het lantaarnpaalnummer = F.
Tussenpunt #2: N 52° 19.F-A+2’ - E004° 34.D+F-B-6’
Op de huidige Vogelenzangseweg (N206), net even ten Noorden van de bebouwde kom van toen, was een van de Zuidelijke toegangspoorten gepionierd.
Hier staat weer een betonnen paaltje met een peilbuisnummer. Het peilbuisnummer op dit tussenpunt = G.
Tussenpunt #3: N 52° 19.(G-D)-(G-D)B/10’ - E004° 33.(G+G)+(E-C)-2’
Ongeveer 100 meter Zuidelijker van dit tussenpunt heeft de meest Zuidelijke toegangspoort gestaan. Aan weerszijden van deze weg waren twee parkeerterreinen. Ten Oosten voor auto’s van bezoekers en ten Westen voor deelnemers. Toentertijd waren er nog niet zoveel auto’s. Als men deze weg even doorrijdt kom je bij een camping, die nu is gelegen op een de subkampterreinen I, II en III van de Jamboree. Bij dit WP staat een bankje en een paneel van Staatsbosbeheer. In het voorjaar heeft men hier een mooi uitzicht over de bollenvelden. In de andere tijd van het jaar is er altijd wel bedrijvigheid om het land te bewerken. Hoeveel bouten zijn er verwerkt in het bankje? Uit hoeveel planken bestaat dit bankje? Aantal bouten = H. Aantal planken = J.
Tussenpunt #4: N 52° 19.HHH+JJJ’ - E004° 33.111*(H+J)’
Tijdens de Jamboree waren er ook Voortrekkers (oudere scouts) aanwezig. Zij hadden hun kamp mogen opzetten op terrein waar nu het parkeerterrein van het Pannenkoekenhuis is.
Zoek naar het grote paneel van Water Net. Hier heeft heel lang een mooi bord gestaan met daarop een aantal dieren afgebeeld, die in de omgeving gespot kunnen worden. Het bord is begin 2021 vervangen door een nieuw bord met daarop afgebeeld een aantal verbodsborden. Sinds 2023 is het bord wederom vervangen. Het aantal verbodsborden +1 = K.
Vermoedelijke toegangspoort vanaf de kampvuurplaats terug naar het kampterrein.
Tussenpunt #5: N 52° 19.A*K-C+3’ - E004° 34.C-(K-(2*J)) 2*J’
Op deze foto staat rechts het Wereld Jamboree monument en in het midden het gebouw Teylingerbosch waarin tijdens de Jamboree het Hoofdkwartier was gevestigd. Hierin verbleef B.P. tijdens de Jamboree.
In de voortuin was op 1 augustus 2007 een speciaal radiozendstation ingericht: PA100S. Om wereldwijd Sun Rise Day te vieren: de dag dat Scouting Wereldwijd 100 jaar bestond.
Het Jamboree monument is aldaar twee keer geplaatst. De eerste keer was 50 jaar na de Jamboree en daarna op 9 mei 2009.
Op de toegangshekken rechts naast het monument staan een zestal huisnummers. Tel alleen de enkele cijfers op (dus niet 18A). De som van de huisnummers = L.
In het weiland ten Noordoosten van deze kruising was de Arena, waar onder andere de slotceremonie werd gehouden.
B.P. overhandigde de Jacobsstaf, het symbool van de Jamboree, aan een contingentleider tijdens de Slotceremonie.
Het is ook het slotpunt van deze cache.

The totally length of this cache is approximately 8 kilometers. The best way to do is by bicycle, because halfway there could be a pole in the middle of the road. If you will take the bike, you can do this cache within 1 hour.
Parking is suitable at the starting point of the cache.
Since March 12, 2011 you must pay for paking at waypoint 4.
5th World Jamboree - Vogelenzang, Holland, 1937
The name of this cache comes from the first line of the Jamboree 1937 song. The translation from Dutch is: “In 19-3-7, You will believe something, the Jamboree comes to The Netherlands ......."
This Jamboree is remembered more particularly as the last Jamboree Baden-Powell was able to attend before his death in January 1941. Queen Wilhelmina opened the Jamboree and before her were assembled 28,700 Scouts from 54 countries – including 8,000 from the British Commonwealth.
Once more the youth of the world gave a message of hope, but it could be but a faint beam in a darkening sky. At the conclusion B.-P. gave his last Jamboree message; all there must have realized that the sands of his life were running out, and his final, "Now good-bye. God bless you all," was charged with a deep emotion of affection which made itself felt throughout the vast assembly.
It was as though he knew he would not be able to attend another Jamboree and was giving his blessing to the Scouts of all nations.
"The Emblem of our Jamboree is the Jacob staff. This was the instrument by which the navigators in old days found their way across the seas. Let it also for us to-day be an instrument of guidance in our life. It is the Cross which for all who are Christians points the way; but it is also a cross with many arms; these are held out to embrace all creeds. Those eight arms, together with the head and foot of the emblem, remind us of our ten Scout Laws.
Go forth with this emblem to spread the spirit of goodwill ....
Now the time has come for me to say good-bye. I want you to lead happy lives. You know that many of us will never meet again in this world. I am in my eighty-first year and am nearing the end of my life. Most of you are at the beginning and I want your lives to be happy and successful. You can make them so by doing your best to carry out the Scout Law all your days, whatever your station and wherever you are. I want you all to preserve this badge of the Jamboree which is on your uniform. I suggest that you keep it and treasure it and try to remember for what it stands. It will be a reminder of the happy times you have had in camp; it will remind you to take the ten points of your Scout Law as your guide in life; and it will remind you of the many friends to whom you have held out the hand of friendship and so helped through goodwill to bring about God's reign of peace among men. Now good-bye. God bless you all."

On this traffic junction Vogelenzangseweg-Woestduinweg was the Northern gate. West of the road two other parking areas where situated in the fields. What is the house number of the farm Eindhoeve. What kilometer number is shown on the hectometer sign? What number has the Peilbuis (ENG: gauging-pipe) on the side with the bench? How many concrete poles are used for the hairpin bend in the foot path? What upper number has the lamp-post on the traffic island?

WP 2: N 52° 19.F-A+2’ - E004° 34.D+F-B-6’
On the nowadays Vogelenzangseweg (N206), just North of the built-up area of 1937, was one of the Southern gates to the Jamboree. On the side of the bicycle path, you’ll find another Peilbuis. The number of the gauging-pipe at this WP = G.
WP 3:N 52° 19.(G-D)-(G-D)B/10’ - E004° 33.(G+G)+(E-C)-2’
100 meters from this WP to the South was the most Southern gate of the Jamboree. On both sides of this road were parking places. On the East for visitors and on the West for members of the Jamboree. There was no huge number of cars that days. A few hunderds of meters furtheron the road, there is a camping place, that is situated now on the subcamp ereas I, II and III of the Jamboree. At this WP you’ll find a bench and a panel of Staatsbosbeheer. During the spring this is a beautiful for side seeing the bulb fields. The rest of the year workers are busy with the land. How many pint are used to fix the planks of the bench? How many planks are used for this bench?

WP4: N 52° 19.HHH+JJJ’ - E004° 33.111*(H+J)’
During the Jamboree there were also a Group of senior scouts. Their camp was far away from the Jamboree area. Nowadays it is the parking place of a typical pancake house. Just on the border of the forest you’ll find a Water Net's large panel. For a long time there has been a nice sign here with a number of animals that can be spotted in the area. The sign was replaced at the beginning of 2021 by a new sign with a number of prohibition signs on it. Since 2023 the sign was replaced again. The number of prohibition signs +1 = K.
WP 5: N 52° 19.A*K-C+3’ - E004° 34.C-(K-(2*J)) 2*J’
On the right of this picture you see the Jamboree Monument and in the white building in the middle called Teylingerbosch and was the residence of B.P. during the camp. On the first of August 2007 in the front garden was a special event amateur radio station active with the call sign PA100S, during the Sun Rise Day, celebrate the 100th anniversary of Scouting World Wide.
The Jamboree Monument is placed there twice. The first time in 1987, 50 years after the Jamboree and the second time on May 29 2009. At the entrance gates (right of the Monument) are shown the house numbers. Add all the numbers (except 18A). The total of the numbers = L.

In the field North East of this road junction was the Arena, where the Closing Ceremony toke place. Today it is also the Closing Point of this cache.
From here you can walk to the stash. Make the calculation of the coordinates of the stash, by:
