The cache is located in 60' of water so scuba diving skills are essential. You must be a certified scuba diver to access this cache. There is a $20.00 fee to dive in the quarry. Note the cache is NOT available 24 X 7. The quarry is open most days from 10:00AM to 6:00PM and closed on Wednesdays.
The cache is located in the cockpit of a Cessna plane sunk in the quarry.
To access the cache enter the water from the old primary dock. From the old primary dock surface swim SW to the 65' platform buoy (about 40'). Perform a controlled descent following the line to the 65' platform. From the 65' platform follow the yellow rope NW to the Cessna, passing the sunken pickup truck. The Cessna consists of the body only and does not have wings, engine, doors or glass.
The cache is located under the dash on the pilots side of the plane. The cache is a clear Plexiglas box that is slightly negatively buoyant. The cache is attached to the dash of plane via cable so it won't float away. The cache contains a waterproof log book and pencil.
