Geocache Description:

Arguably, GeoCaching was invented by Andrew "Andy" Dufresne, in the movie 'The Shawshank Redemption'.

Andy hid a cache in a field underneath a piece of Volcanic Glass. Ellis Boyd "Red" Redding then searched and found the case upon his release from prison.

This cache is somewhat of a tribute to Andy and Red.

As you search for this cache I hope you feel the sense of freedom that Andy and Red would have felt in their endeavor.

The cache is located in bushy terrain. It could be fun to find this one on the way to GC18CFM, which is about 300m away.

Please take care and leave the cache exactly as you found it.

Geokids are welcome but will need to be helped as some areas are steep.

Think of the movie and it may help you.

Please be generous when bringing things to swap. The cache is big one so it will accommodate larger items.

Feel free to leave/swap coins and bugs.

Congratulations to NorthOfTheSouth for FTF!

NOTE: You do not need to 'bush bash' to find this cache. Although there are no tracks to it, you do not need to trample on ferns etc - please resist the temptation to do this.
