Geocache Description:

Old Town Hall

This cache is one of a series of caches to show some of the historic places in Bow.

In the Spring of 1847, Bow voters decided to build a new town hall to
replace the old one located on White Rock Hill. The new building would be constructed on land given to the town, specifically for that purpose, by Colonel James Green, a former Selectman.
The Bow Town Hall 1847 is still used for meetings. Many debates and town meetings are still held here.
