Geocache Description:

The 20x13x10 cm big box is located in the given place covered with twigs and barks behind a tree.

According to the coordinates the box is located in a nature reservation just like in the past, so I signd the licens too. According to the previous box-description, it was hidden by the permission of KMNPI. The previously here hidden box was hidden by the permission of the Koros-Maros National Park's Directorship! The Magor hill, and its precincts, which can be found on the brink of Veszto (towards North-West), become dual archaeological and conservationist protection in 1978, on a 13 hectare big area. As a result of the expansions, the 947 hectare big area (called Magor-puszta) is the territorial unity of the Koros-Maros National Park. From the area - that was beset with the old River Sebes-Koros's watercourse - raised Magor hill was built-up area since millenniums. It's almost unexampled in Europe, that the 7 meters high superimposed layers -can be seen in a covered exhibition-bear evidence of the people's life in the neolithic, copper age, and metal age. At the other part of the hill, the church, built in the XI-XII. co. and friary's remains, (called Csolt-monastery) are visible. This is the most notable art relic ensemble from the Arpad age in the South-East lowland, in addition it's a gothic burying-place as well. To represent the findings, a cellar - built by the Wenckheim-family in 1810-1812 - is liable, in which later the decor rocks of the monastery was built in too. The natural value of the area is given by the olden Kis-Sarret's waterworld's remains, and the lick flora and animal world, sprawned from the regulation of the river. From these it's worth to mention the aster, and the otter, which lives in the River Holt-Koros. The Directorship of the Koros-Maros National Park gave up the fifth lore pathway in Magor-puszta in 2003. The little more than 500 meters long lore pathway starts next to the way leading to the Veszto Magor Historical Memorial's entry. With the tour of the route the natural and the cultur historycal values of the reservation is knowable. The lore pathway guide to the Magor-hill. The duration of the tour is approx. 1.5-2 hours. Stages: 1. Wildlife of the River Holt-Sebes-Koros 2. Wildlife of the Flood-basin forest 3. Pakasz farm 4. Csolt-monastery and the dual Magor-hill 5.
