You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all
alike.
Foster City can be hard to navigate if you aren't used to it.
With that in mind, I've provided explicit turn-by-turn directions
to this cache location. Well, almost. Follow these simple steps,
and you will practically drive right up to it. 100-200 feet of
walking will be required at the end.
The total distance involved is about 7.5 miles, and will take
you within a block or so of many other caches. It can easily be
done by bicycle. You probably can also do it virtually, but what
fun is that?
Important notes:
- In following the directions, only proper streets should be
considered. Do not turn into parking lots, driveways, alleyways,
etc.
- Bends in the road are not considered turns.
- Please do not try to write while
driving. You will find plenty of opportunities to stop and
take notes.
- Do not include prefixes, such as E(ast), in street names when
calculating the final coordinates.
Here we go:
- Start at the posted coordinates, the City Hall parking
lot.
- Exit the parking lot, turning right (south-east) onto Foster
City Blvd.
- Turn left at the second traffic light. You are now on

- Turn left at the first stop sign. You are now on ______________
(B)
- Turn left at the third stop sign.
- Turn right at the first traffic light. You are now on
______________ (C)
- Turn right at the first stop sign.
- Turn right at the second stop sign.
- Take the next right. You are now on ______________
(D)
- Turn left at the second stop sign. You are now on
______________ (E)
- Turn right at the first stop sign.
- Take the first right after the second stop sign. You are now on
______________ (F)
- Turn left at the second stop sign.
- Turn right at the first stop sign.
- Turn left at the first stop sign. You are now on ______________

- Find a place to park, then work out the final coordinates, as
follows:

Where:
(A1) = first letter of street (A), converted to a number (a=1, b=2,
etc.)
- Find the cache! You will probably need to travel a bit more,
but no more turns should be required. You can get to the cache
without trampling any vegetation. Please be stealthy if you are
visiting during a busy time of the day.
