Heron Creek Forest Preserve, Enter on Old McHenry Rd just south of
Rt 22. Nice trails to walk and bike, playground for the kids, bird
watchers and more. A fresh preserve thats clean. Before today it
only held a few caches. Should be fairly easy to find and is close
to parking.
Normally I will not warn about natural things you will incounter
enjoying the great outdoors - like snakes, skeeters, bees, deer,
thorns unless they are over bearing at the time of placement or
maintainence if I notice these. DO NOT go off the edge of the path
more than about 20 feet or you will find thorns. The container is a
5 inch centrifuge tube in or around logs and there is a few
thorns.
No this is not a drilled log.
I made an averaged reading for about 45mins. OK cachers let me know
how it is, no one had trouble before. THANKS
