The Cape Cod Rail Trail follows a former railroad right-of-way for 22 miles through the towns of Dennis, Harwich, Brewster, Orleans, Eastham and Wellfleet. Its paved surface, few hills, and well-marked automobile crossings make it ideal for cyclists of all ages & abilities.
From the rotary you can either head towards Harwich center & Chatham beyond that, or towards Nickerson State Park & on to Wellfleet.
An easy P&G (pedal & grab) as you are going along the CCRT. This cache is 3.5 miles from the start of the trail. There are other places to park & start your journey, but riding the trail is the most scenic way to go!
As with any rotary, there is a lot of traffic so please be careful. Please tuck back in the way you found it.
