The Dirty Dozen
An Army Major who likes to butt heads with his superiors, is being "given" a new assignment, to train 12 men who are either sentenced to death or life imprisonment, to go behind enemy lines raid a chateau that the Germans are using as an R&R center and kill as enemy officers as they can and disrupt the German chain of command. Now he not only has to train them; he has to get them to start acting like a unit.
Pedro Jiminez (Trini López) – Sentenced to 20 years hard labor as the fruit of his crimes.
This is the sixth cache in a series. We have decided to make a 13 cache series (the Dirty Dozen plus the Major) - each one (we believe) evilly difficult to find. See if you can be the first to find and log all 13! This cache only contains a log. Some are much harder than others. If no one finds a cache after a reasonable time (don't assume we are reasonable) we will start adding clues.
Please note that when I placed the cache I had to step a few feet south west until I got a GPS reading, so when at coords, I would suggest you go a few feet north and a few feet east. There is a cost to enter the park and it has restricted hours. But that is if you enter by car. You can walk in free and I don't believe there are issues using the bike/jogging trail to enter at any time. Also a very nice playground area for kids nearby. Beautiful ocean views. A few nearby caches also to add to your count. I did see some poison oak in the park but this cache should be safe unless some new growth has happened.
