Ein bemerkenswertes Paar mitten in der Pampa. Vom Parkplatz sind es gut einen Kilometer. Die Strasse führt weiter, aber danach werden Parkmöglichkeiten knapp.
A marvelous pair, father and son, in the middle of nowhere. About one kilometer on foot from the parking place. The unpaved road does lead farther on, but here parking opportunities become rare. The path leads through lovely rural Ibiza landscape.

Er hat die Herrschaft der Mauren gesehen. Bei der Ankunft der Christen im Jahre 1229 war er schon über 200 Jahre alt. Er hat Columbus zugelächelt. Die ibizenkischen Korsaren überlebt. Die Not der Inquisition überdauert. Das letzte große Feuer konnte ihm natürlich nichts anhaben und stoppte wenige Meter vor ihm. Deshalb lächelt er. Mit über tausend Jahren ist er vermutlich das älteste Lebewesen auf der Insel. Mit der Würde des Alters erwartet er Dich. Natürlich stört der Cache nicht seine Ruhe - der liegt bei seinem Sohn. 15 Meter in 155 Grad vom Vater, genau bei den Koordinaten. Bitte verratet in Euren Logs nicht das Geheimnis des Vaters.
He has seen the reign of the Moors. When Christians came in 1229, he was already more than 200 years old. He sheltered the Phoenecians. Smiled at Columbus. Survived the horrors of the Spanish Inquisition. Looked on as Franco, peasant farmers, hippies, jet setters and tourists passed through Ibiza. The last big fire stopped a few metres in front of him - naturally. With ageless grace the father waits for you. Of course the cache does not disturb his peace – because the cache lies by his young son - 15 meters and 155 degrees from the father, by the given coordinates. Please don’t give away the secret of the father in your logs!
