As our local cachers have been going about their daily Geocaching business, walking the trails, searching under logs, and just generally enjoying the sport, there has been an ominous presence lurking in the shadows. Occasionally we have glimpsed a flash of moonlight reflecting off of a pair of red eyes, and we have seen a partial bloody handprint on the bark of a tree. Once in a while we hear unusual noises coming from the brush as we make our way through the forest.
We haven’t actually seen any real Zombies (at least we don’t think we have), but we want to be cautious just the same so we have encrypted the location of the cache that we have just hidden so that it will be harder for the Zombies to locate.
Unfortunately, there are no Zombie attributes to list on the page. If you do encounter a Zombie it is a good idea to offer them corn chips. Doritos are good too, as are Scoops and Goldfish. they like salt and according to Voodoo legend, if a zombie tastes salt, it will return to the grave and you will be safe to go and find the cache.
