Moun10Bike: I visited the site this morning in order to replace the missing container, only to discover that the hidey hole had undergone some major changes! It looks like a saw had been taken to the old broken stump. This has made the hiding spot a less viable one, and so I am electing to archive this cache. Thanks to all who visited, and sorry to those who had solved the puzzle but had encountered a missing cache.
