We finally put together a series of caches that will have a Halloween theme. This one fits that description for the name of the location....Dark Brook.
Dark Brook Reservoir is on the Dark Brook Reservoir in Worcester County, Massachusetts and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1950.
Dark Brook Reservoir Dam is of earthen construction, a gravity dam. Its length is 760 feet. Its capacity is 4110 acre feet. Normal storage is 1793 acre feet. It drains an area of 2 square miles.
There is parking for a few cars near the cache location but please don't block the path entrance. It seems to be a favorite dirt biker route and we are considering the safety of bikers and cachers alike.
