Part of the rail way series #2
This bridge was part of the old Cork (mallow - waterford) Rosslare route that It closed in 1967 when trains were diverted via Limerick Jct. This fine bridge featured in the famous flying scene in the film 'Blue Max' where George Peppared rival challenges him to fly under the arches (middle right one), of course the rival crashes & dies when his plane skims a old abbey nearby!

Caution , there is LIVE Electric fence there the cache site , please do not touch any fences ,you do not need to go near any fences to find the cache .

the trailer can be viewed here with a shot of the bridge at .32's
(visit link)

The cache is a tub-a-ware box , hidden at the top of the rail way bridge ,
the is a lovely walk form the road to the cache along the blackwater river,

But to get to the cache itself there is a short but steep climb up some rocks,
so it is not recommended for children , you do not need to go near any electric fence , and you do not need to go to the abbey to find the cache

warning the rocks up to the gz can be very slippy when wet , please climbing them carefully .

The site is a very popularly fishing spot so loads of muggles around ,

you should also visit the old abbey nearby when you have found the cache .
enjoy .
