Geocache Description:

Would have been a good place for settlers to build a log cabin

This is a laneway that overlooks the Derwent River and Bay where some 313 boats where built at Battery Point, out of local timbers from Drougthy Point and Dynnynre in the 1800's.
This location would have been ideal for the early settlers to build a log cabin!
