You are looking for a roomy lock-and-lock at the high point
of the
Bedrock Trail. Have a yabba dabba doo time!!
We are trying to meet the requirements to log '50Sumtin Memorial
Challenge' (GC1GPN9) and as of this writing are down to our last
dozen or so. Today we were after 'Thompson's Bench Overlook'
(GCXVF1) and thought we'd leave a few breadcrumbs for future
cachers.
We parked at 'Secret Trail Head: Olive Springs' (GCXA7M) and took
the Hinkley Basin Fire Road to the West Ridge Trail.
Alternately, you can hike in from the main entrance area (parking -
N 37° 00.370 W 121° 54.437) and come up the West Ridge Trail from
the other end.
