"The Northland Astronomical Society Incorporated (NAS) was formed in July 2000 with the purpose of promoting and educating the people of Northland in the many fascinating aspects of astronomy.

Thanks to Pub Charity, the society has been able to obtain three state-of-the-art telescopes to replace the old 14" Newtonian Reflector. Chief among them is a Celestron CGE-14 with a computerised ‘Go To’ feature, which allows for easy use. As well as our superb 11" Celestron NexStar and 6" Saxon Maksutov-Cassegrain"

The Kiwinorth building and the carpark area have cameras now. GZ is not seen by these, just a note to not go snooping around the buildings.
