You can find the cache near Libickozma in the forest in the area of an abandoned village.
Szökepuszta is an abandoned and annihilated village.
The Baptist chapel of Szökepuszta is situated in the forest near Libickozma that is the smaller village of Somogy county with 40 inhabitants now.
Szökepuszta was founded in 1920s by immingration of Baptist people from the Great Hungarian Plane. They built their houses and Chapel in this field. They were occupied in doing agriculture in their own smallholdings. When the collectivization of agriculture was carried into effect, they lost their safe job, and they moved to towns.
This was happen in 1960s. The houses were pulled down and you can see the place of this village as a treeless and uneven area in the forest.
You can’t find houses but only the chapel now, that was renovated in 2007.
The sandy scartroad from Libickozma takes 1,6 kms (1 mi) to the cache. In Sept. and Oct. months you can be in the forest only from 9h to 15h because of huntings.
Recommended parking place is a grassy field at N46° 31,631’ E17° 31,897’
