FI: Pienilläkin kylillä oli ennen omat kirjastot, jotka usein toimivat paikallisten koulujen yhteydessä. Tämä kätkö sijaitsee entisen Länsirannan koulun välittömässä läheisyydessä. Koulu lopetettiin jo 80-luvulla ja nykyään rakennus ja alue on yksityisessä omistuksessa. Kätkön tekemiseen on omistajan suostumus ja talon asukkaat ovat siitä tietoisia. Jos näet kirjastonhoitajan kätkön läheisyydessä, käy toki tervehtimässä :)
Kätkö toimii kirjojen, elokuvien ja musiikin vaihtopisteenä, sekä palvelee myös BookCrossing-harrastajia. Se on jaettu osastoihin, kuten kirjastot yleensä. Länsirannan sivukirjaston osastot ovat:
- Tiede ja uskonnot
- Runot ja romaanit
- Lastenkirjat
- Lehdet ja sarjakuvat
- Musiikki (kasetit, vinyylilevyt ja CD:t)
- Elokuvat (videot ja DVD:t)
Lisäksi kirjastossa on logikirja ja kirjastokortteja, sekä pienet osastot reissaajille ja pikku vaihtotavaroille. Oman ilmaisen, numeroidun, henkilökohtaisen kirjastokortin saat mukaasi ensimmäisellä kirjastokäynnilläsi :)
Kirjasto on n. 200-litrainen ja väriltään valkoinen.

EN: Before even small villages used to have their own libraries, wich often operated in connection with the local schools. This cache is located in the immediate vicinity of the former School of Länsiranta ("West Bank"). The school was closed in 1980s. The building and the area are nowadays privately owned, but the cache has the land owner´s permission. The current residents know about it, too. Please say hello to the librarian, if you see him/her nearby :)
The cache acts as an exchange point of books, movies and music, and it also can serve the BookCrossing. As libraries in general, it is divided into departments. The departments of the Little Library of West Bank are:
- Science and Religions
- Novels and Poem
- Children´s books
- Comics and Magazines
- Music (cassettes, vinyls and CDs)
- Movies (videotapes and DVDs)
In the container, there is also the log book, some library cards, and small departments for travellers and other little things. On your first visit you´ll get your own, free, personal, numbered library card with you :)
The library is about 200 l and white coloured.
