Stumbled upon this gorgeous area while doing a couple of nearby caches. I placed this cache to encourage people to walk the meadow trail loop. This cache was placed in early October when the foliage was starting to peak. The loop offers some excellent views and a nice easy walk to clear your head!
Cache name came from a cluster of old gnarled trees near by which reminded me of the flying monkey seen in The Wizard of Oz!
Parking for this cache can be found at the listed waypoint. This cache is a small lock 'n lock type container large enough for a log, small swag and a few travelers. Please re-hide as found. Happy caching!
