A short hike up the Bartlett Mountain Trail to near the Merriman State Forest sign.
We placed this cache to encourage people to hike up the very nice Bartlett Mountain Trail To Josiah's Rock and then on to the summit of Bartlett Mountain. It is a very well blazed trail the whole way with some spectacular views at Josiah's Rock and at spots further up the trail. To find the trail follow the directions for Josiah's Rock, GC24721. The shortest distance is from the Eagle Ridge condominium community. There is a Bartlett Mountain Trail sign along the road there, but you can't park there. Find a spot above or below the sign. Head up the wide path and take the second trail on the right downhill across a bridge and then just keep following the trail up to the Merriman State Forest sign. After you find this cache continue up the trail for two more caches at Josiah's Rock and the summit.
